Create a picture log
A picture source contains a picture and optionally contains a log. You can use the log to record notes, ideas or comments to describe the whole or part of a picture. These are referred to as log entries.
What do you want to do?
- Create a log for the picture
- Create a log for a region of the picture
- Define a region for a log entry
- Select a region of the picture from a log entry
- Delete log entries
Create a log for the picture

Make sure you are in edit mode.

Click below the picture log to insert a row.

Click in the Content column.

Enter your notes or comments.

Make sure you are in edit mode.

Use the mouse to select a region of the picture.

Click below the picture log to insert a row.

Enter your notes or comments in the Content column.
NOTE To see the corresponding region in the picture, click on the full row.
Define a region for a log entry
You can select a region of a picture and set the coordinates to a log entry row. This can be useful if you have a log entry with no picture region associated with it.

Make sure you are in edit mode.

Use the mouse to select a region of the picture.

Click the cell in the Region column where you want to set the coordinates of the selected region.

Click below the picture.
Select a region of the picture from a log entry
You can use a picture log entry to select a specific region of the picture. This can be useful, for example, if you want to code the precise region associated with a log entry.

Select a log entry that has a picture region associated with it.

Click below the picture log. The associated picture region is selected.
Delete log entries

Make sure you are in edit mode.

Select the row you want to delete.
- Click below the picture log to delete the selected row.
